We began the project by running design sprints to quickly uncover key requirements and define a robust solution while iterating on the visual design. This allowed us to align with MACH Alliance’s goals early and move forward with confidence. Following this, we modernized the codebase, adding new features to enhance both the front-end user experience and back-end content management.
In parallel, we focused on improving the testing, build, and deployment strategy by implementing continuous deployment. This shift enabled the MACH Alliance to adopt a more product-centric approach, facilitating continuous improvement. Throughout the project, we worked closely with the MACH Alliance team, validating progress, providing training, and onboarding their team as new features were delivered.
As a result of the replatforming, the MACH Alliance now benefits from a modernized, flexible website that empowers their team to more easily manage and create content. The streamlined content management process has reduced friction, enabling quicker updates and a more agile digital marketing strategy. Additionally, the implementation of a continuous deployment pipeline has set the foundation for ongoing product improvements, ensuring that the platform can evolve alongside their needs. The close collaboration and ongoing training provided to the MACH Alliance team ensured a smooth transition and better adoption of new features.

The solution for the MACH Alliance was built using a best-practice implementation of MACH architecture principles, ensuring flexibility and scalability. Key technologies included Contentstack for content management, Vercel for front-end deployment, Algolia for search, and Hubspot for marketing automation. Additionally, we integrated Learning 360 and Credly to connect member accounts to an e-learning platform. The solution was based on a microservices architecture with a headless frontend built in React, and fully cloud-hosted, ensuring that the MACH Alliance could maintain agility and future-proof their digital ecosystem.
