Although the organisation is guided by a strong group of leaders, giving people the freedom to focus on what they really want and how they want to work and live is the foundation of our DNA.

Input from the team is of great importance for Lab Digital. Therefore, team members frequently step out of their formal roles. This can vary from organising team-building activities and ordering new office furniture, to setting up a program related to a global sustainability goal.

Our career/development framework gives an overview of paths and opportunities. It lists the required knowledge, skills, attitude, and salary for each position at every seniority level. We facilitate a guided personal growth plan that results in courses, certifications, and weekly study hours. We organise plenary sessions to share knowledge.

Fair sharing is key within Lab Digital. We share knowledge and success with our people, alongside expertise and open-source modules within the digital domain. We encourage our social impact by sharing time and effort for social initiatives. Sharing success through remuneration gives the opportunity to offer participation.


part of society

We are a modern company at our core and see ourselves as part of society. That gives us the opportunity (and obligation) to make a difference. An example of this is our cooperation with Jinq, where we frequently teach young people from underprivileged neighbourhoods in the Netherlands about the possibilities in tech.

Social initiatives are developed and implemented by volunteers from our team. A recent example is our office's successful children's day for Ukrainian children. The money raised will be invested in our next charitable initiative.
